Sir Richard Branson's newest hotel property, which he purchased in 1998 during one of his famous ballooning expeditions, has finally opened. The former home of Luciano Tempo, the renowned antiques dealer and interior designer, the hotel's 18 splendid rooms, including 4 suites, are individually decorated with many of his beautiful antiques from all over the world. Facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a tennis court, a spa and Hamman, a beauty salon and gym as well as a restaurant serving local specialties.
Located on the ousckirts of Asni, a small berber village about 40 minutes drive from Marrakech, the Kasbah TAmadot is situated in the High Atlas Mountains and thus enjoys breathtaking views of rocky limestone and forested mountains on one side and snow-capped peaks o the other.
Although it has just opened, the Kasbah is already said to be one of the most stunning hotels in North Africa. Because of its location, guests can also participate in a stunningly wide range of activities, including mountain trekking, skiing, scenic flights over the Sahara and day-trips into Marrakech.
